The dining run is the clearest statement of the design. A red brick dado carries a continuous brown-upholstered banquette, punctuated by timber crate planters set with rosemary. Low timber tables and matching benches sit ahead of it, each table dressed with a condiment caddy, and a line of pink paper lanterns hangs above. Behind the whole run stands the screen: bamboo canes cut with an illustrated silhouette and lit from behind, so the drawing reads as dark shapes against the glow.
Production drawings were issued for the scheme, so the furniture was drawn to be made rather than bought. The tables, benches, banquettes and planters are low in proportion and built up from visible timber members, while the yellow shell chairs and round tables on the concourse are separate pieces again. The condiment caddies and the curved glass pastry cabinet at the servery carry the same attention — small items of industrial design inside a larger interior.
Graphics run the length of the unit. A row of illuminated menu boards hangs over the servery against an orange counter and matching orange bulkhead, and the mall-facing fascia is red with a circular “enda” badge and the words enda foods lettered onto the glazing. The silhouette behind the bamboo screen is an illustration made for this project.
The mall-facing corner is where the two halves meet. The unit turns a fully glazed edge onto the terrazzo concourse, so the counter, the pastry cabinet and the dining run are legible from the walkway, while the interior opens the other way onto the same glazed wall and the plank floor runs out to it.
The five images in this gallery are studio-produced visualisation rather than photographs of a built interior. Each was modelled at full scene detail, then textured, lit, rendered and post-processed in-house, and the same model served for the studio's immersive presentation of the space alongside the stills shown here.
The team was Jude Abbey, Jude Nyoagbe and Kuukuwa Manful on the interior design; Jude Abbey, Winfred Atieku and Jude Nyoagbe on modelling; Jude Abbey and Winfred Atieku on production drawings; Jude Nyoagbe on texturing, lighting, rendering and post-processing; and Randy Biney on graphic design and illustration. The client was ENDA Foods, in Accra, Ghana. The full gallery is on Behance.
