Gh Photography Awards

Gh Photography Awards title card: a camera lens barrel ringed with blue light on a black ground, the words GH PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 2016 stacked in red and grey at its centre, and a right-hand column naming the Best Architectural Photography category, its four photographers and CNN as award sponsor

Industrial design, 3D visualization and motion design for the Gh Photography Awards ceremony.

Gh Photography Awards is a 2016 multidisciplinary project completed by RDVS Studios for a private client, encompassing industrial design, 3D visualization, and motion design.

The project involved creating dynamic visual elements and industrial design components for the awards ceremony, showcasing our team's expertise in combining 3D visualization with motion graphics to create compelling visual experiences.

Gh Photography Awards seen through the lens itself: the barrel faced head-on with its aperture blades at the centre, cyan light picking out the inner ring and radial blur streaking out behind it, and the curved AWARDS lettering wrapping the right-hand side of the mount
The award as a sculpture: a camera lens barrel standing on a dark plinth whose brass nameplate reads Gh Photography Awards, the glass lit red and the whole piece mirrored in the gloss black table below, GH PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 2016 stacked in red and grey at the left and a Revival Design+VFX Studios mark at the lower right
The same lens-barrel award on its nameplate plinth in a cooler pass, the glass reading silver with red only inside the barrel and the red band behind the lettering dropped out
A low angle on the award: the lens barrel glowing cyan at the head of a black conical column whose base breaks into radiating chrome shards, GH PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 2016 set in red against the dark at the left
The cyan column and shard base again from further back, the trophy left largely in silhouette and the lettering at the left thrown out of focus
The award with its radiating shards catching the cyan rim light along one edge, the GH PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 2016 lock-up sharp at the left of the frame
The lens-barrel award at its brightest, red light flooding the glass above the brass Gh Photography Awards nameplate, a red band crossing the frame behind the title and the piece reflected in the table beneath it
The same award in a neutral pass, the barrel reading white and chrome against a grey band, the nameplate and its reflection the only warm notes in the frame
