MOUND is industrial design and product visualization: RDVS designed the two pieces for the studio’s own MIG line and documented them as products.
Two pieces, one job. The tray is shallow and grey, photographed carrying fruit and a wristwatch; the bench is mesh-top and the same grey, shown at the foot of a bed carrying a plate of lemons, with the MIG mark bottom right of the frame.
The group sits apart from the furniture in the line because neither piece is a seat or a working surface. Both are shown carrying something else, which is the whole of their function.
Two plates and one film document it. The film is the clip the first plate is a frame from: 22 seconds of the tray at 1280 × 720.
2016 is the date the studio records for MOUND. The media files carry a later export stamp, which is not the design date.
